As the 17-18 school year is fast approaching, our teachers have been working to get ready for the new and exciting novel studies they have planned for next year!
Novel studies build community in classrooms and create a collaborative learning environment that encourages students to think, comprehend, and write at complex cognitive levels. Our novel studies last year were a huge success and we are looking forward to continuing this initiative this school year! Imagine South Lake is providing most of the text sets students will need this year, however, we are asking families to partner with us and purchase 2 of the books students will read in grades 1-8.
